Welcome to Wrockets, another web site about water rockets.

Over the winter, while the weather is unsuitable for launching, I hope to tell of my attempts to build and launch a water and compressed air powered rocket based on 2 litre fizzy drinks bottles.
The initial goals were to achieve a flight of over 100 metres in altitude and 60 seconds in duration.
During 2008 10 flights were made, 9 successfully and 1 not so!
To date the highest flight I have achieved is 212 metres (695 feet)

None of the ideas, designs or techniques used do I claim to be new, most were trawled form the many other sites on the Internet. What I have tried to do is pick the best bits and come up with a light, easy to build and hence easy to repair rocket.
